Lessons at WFR are given by the owner, Sandra
Adair, a teacher
by profession. Sandra has been riding all her life, and has done
just about everything from English Pleasure and Western Trail to
Hunter/Jumpers and Eventing. She operated a breeding operation,
managed a hundred horse Arabian ranch, including getting all the
foals ready for sale and breaking the three year olds, and
even put a thoroughbred on the race track!!
When her eventing partner,
Wiley, develop a bone spur in 1992, she turned her attention
to dressage, and the pair competed to
Prix St. Georges, before Wiley retired at 18. She rode in clinics
with Richard Howard, Hans Bis, and
Franz
Rochowansky, and has been riding with Lyndon
Rife since the
summer of 2001. She and her mare Charisma were
Open First Level GAIG Reserve Champions, and GAIG and SWDC
Freestyle Champions at the 2003 Regionals.
Sandra gives lessons
to WFR boarders and haul-in students, and is available for on-site
lessons
and clinics as well. To learn
